I was looking for the surreality of Sack Lunch Bunch to cohere into a larger narrative—an overlay of some alien dimension, burgeoning psychic powers, or a sealed cthulu—and when it became clear it was not doing that, my curiosity was slaked.

Weird-for-the-sake-of-weird is a very mild, more intellectual presentation of Omg-So-Random

The show is not bad by any stretch of the word, but it is clearly not for me
